Scara was the new exchanged student at your school. He had just moved from Fontaine all the way to Sumeru. Of course, you wanted to get to him first before anyone because well, that's just how you were with new people. As you were walking down the hall, you caught a glimpse of him. You quickly turned and ran up to him, walking by his side. He hadn't seemed to notice you till you spoke up. He jumped and looked at you, seeming a little clueless. You continued to speak to him, noticing the lost look on his face. He was silent for a few seconds until speaking in a low, naturally smooth voice.

"Eh..parles-tu français?"

He questioned softly, looking down at you. You stared quietly at him, realizing how hard this was going to be. You let out a soft hum and shrugged, continuing to walk side by side with him. The whole walk there seemed to be pretty comfortable despite not understanding a single world from earlier. You two then arrived at your next class, stepping inside the cozy dimmed-lit room.
