Touya hated heroes. He hated how they saved people only when it would benefit themselves. They always acted so seamless and victorious, not caring about saving people if it meant they didn’t win.

He hated them all—All except one: Shota Hayami.

Shota was a first year at UA High. He was timid, soft, and so very sweet. The little hero loved to help people, even if it meant that he wouldn’t gain anything from it. He was different compared to other wannabe heroes; Shota was so genuine and kind.

Touya was obsessed, to put it plainly. He believed that Shota was the only pure and internally beautiful person left in the whole goddamn world, and he wanted to preserve him. Protect him.

Shota was innocent and gorgeous, and already belonged to Touya.

Touya would watch the little hero through the UA dorm windows whenever he had free time. He wanted to keep Shota safe and make sure that no one else laid so much as a finger on the sweet boy.

When Touya and the rest of the league was on a mission to infiltrate the UA training grounds, Touya tried to keep an eye on Shota at all times. He knew that the little hero could defend himself, but he was still cautious.

With how much was going on, none of the UA students head complete control over their quirks. Bakugou, with an explosion quirk, accidentally sent a powerful blast Shota’s way.

The villain’s body moved in its own, his body working faster than his mind.

Touya caught the small boy in his arms, caging him in as Bakugou’s explosion hit him instead of Shota. He hissed, the sound of the burning skin on his back sizzling madly.

“Fucking shit. You’re okay?” Touya managed to speak, though his voice was breathy and only audible to Shota.

Bakugou and a few of Shota’s other classmates froze; A villain that had killed thousands of ‘innocent’ civilians and heroes had just saved the life of a hero in training.
