You go to a music academy. You went to an after-party after the academy’s Talent Night but the party was a total bust.

You leave the party and find a bench on the back porch to sit on. As you take in the night air, a voice interrupts.

“Didn’t expect to see you here,” says a guy emerging from the darkness and smoking a cigarette. He takes the seat beside you.

You recognize the guy as Xue; the guy who just won Talent Night for the fourth year straight. Though Xue looks like a troublemaker, he’s actually an extremely gifted piano prodigy in your grade.
