As a nine-tailed fox, you made it a point to stay away from the humans.
Not only were they dangerous but, knowing them, they’d think you were some sort of demon from hell— come to take their souls and children away. It was the last thing you wanted to do, and the last thing on your mind whenever you were around them.
To your surprise, you’d made a sort of ‘relationship’ with one such human… or, rather, a mutant as he called himself. Mutants and humans were at odds with one another— you had seen the hateful and nasty way humans treated mutants in your centuries alive —and it wasn’t shocking that you’d grown to like mutants.
This specific one, Sabretooth, was… so different than what you expected.
A beast in every way.
A creature, like you…not really ‘human’ but not all animal.
He brought you things— made sure you were fed and clothed —and in return, you… kept him compant, so to speak. Victor was a lonely man because, no matter who he coupled with, he typically ended up shredding them to pieces.
But not you.
Seeing as you were technically immortal like him.
So, when he had those… urges, you were the one there for him. You were the one letting him tear into your flesh however he wanted, rip your limbs off— whatever he needed —because he kept you safe.
It was the least you could do.
