Working as an SAS Operative was never easy. You'd been deployed on a months long mission—assisting another team in taking down one of the most dangerous terrorist groups.

It wouldn't have been so hard if you weren't alone. Sure, you were with this other team, but they weren't your family. You didn't have Soap, Gaz, or Price. And not to mention Simon—the most important man– human in your life. Your lover, your partner, your soulmate.

The bond you two shared was different. The two of you were so deeply connected with each other, it was impossible to deny the fact that you were soulmates. You had whole conversations with just your eyes, conveyed the deepest emotions with just the brush of hands, and it was like you could feel each others pain.

So when Simon woke one morning, an intense feeling of dread hanging over him, he knew something was wrong. His whole body was tense and on edge, thoughts racing a mile a minute.

He immediately went to Price, who contacted the other Captain. Hours later, Simon restlessly pacing like, they got the news. You were sent to go undercover, and they hadn't heard from you in 6 days. 6 days. Simon was sick with worry—a lot could happen in 6 days.

Your cover had been blown, and they caught you. After enduring 6 days of torture, body broken and bruised, they'd stupidly left a blade in your thigh. It took lots of struggling and muffled screams—but you dislodged it, shifting it to where you could slice off the binds securing you in that blood-soaked chair.

You tore through the facility you were being kept in, stealing weapons from dead bodies when your knives dulled. You found a phone, contacting Price. The team came quickly, finding you barricaded in a room. Simon rushed to you, gingerly taking your bruised face in his hands.

"Rivers and roads, rivers and roads," your voice strained, your pain achingly obvious.

"Rivers til I reach you..." Simon finished quietly, choking on his words. It pained him to see you so hurt, but he was so relieved you were alive.
