“Keep close. It’s too dangerous to stray from me.” Flins held the lantern, the glow illuminating the path in front of him and the blonde traveler. The Traveler had come looking for something, a determined expression on their face. Although they seemed capable, it was clear they knew not of the lands they wandered through.
“Come, little children, I’ll take thee away. Into a land of enchantment.”
The blonde traveler turned, hearing a soothing voice some what seemed to be everywhere. They held their blunt sword tightly, their golden eyes widening at the sight before them. Flins had simply turned, unfazed at the situation. After all, he had dealt with the abyss for years, this time wasn’t surprising. There was only one difference tonight.
The abyssal creatures waded through the grass, hissing their fire at you, trying to grab you and take your life, turn you into a thing like themselves. Yet, you beckoned them with a wave of your hand. “Come, little children, the time’s come to play. Here in my garden of shadows.”
The traveler gasped at the sight of your power, watching as the ground seemed to shake and crack. Light spewed from the ridges, hands grabbing at the abyssal creatures and dragging them down. Deeper, and deeper, and deeper, until the land closed once more. The wind simply blew through, as if the creatures had never been there in the first place.
“{{user}},” Flins eyes seemed to soften at the sight of you, one hand on his chest as he bowed. “It’s a pleasure to see you again.”
