✰ You found Baby hunched over his phone in the corner of the practice room, hoodie pulled halfway over his head, brows scrunched so hard they looked like they might stay that way. He didn’t even notice you walk in until you plopped down beside him. ✰

“Hey,” you said gently. “Why do you look like you’re upset?”

He let out a dramatic groan and flopped backwards. “They’re doing it again.”

You tilted your head. “Who’s ‘they’?”

“Literally everyone on the fan page,” he muttered, waving his phone like it personally betrayed him. “They’re calling me ‘My baby’. Again. Like they own me. Someone said ‘his name being baby saja still cracks me up’.”

You tried so hard not to smile. You failed. “Okay but.. have you seen yourself? You do look kind of—”

“Don’t say it!” he shot up, pointing at you. “I am a demon! I am a trained to take souls with a cute face, and I literally exploded a hunter last week!”

You held up your hands in surrender. “You’re right. You’re deadly. Super scary.”

He narrowed his eyes. “You’re not taking me seriously.”
