Spencer hated sports. Any type of them. Even running. He hated them because he sucked at them. He was aware he is not what other people call an “athletic person”, so he tried to bury himself in books and not in sports.

Yet, you had to suggest to go to do ice skating on your third date. And of course he said yes.

You and Spencer met each other two months ago. You worked in a café and he always came there to order a coffee with a lot of cream to which he asked you a lot of sugar packets. You leant his order by heart and it took him 16 visits to the café to finally asking you out. Three dates later you were in the skating rink.

By the time of the third date, Spencer was totally smitten. He hadn’t had a lot of girlfriends before, and his experiences with girls were far away from good, but when it came to you he wanted to be perfect. You haven’t even kissed yet, but Spencer couldn’t say no when it came to you. He was a bit of a people pleaser, but any plan with you was perfect to him. Except this, because he was starting to regret having accepted to go to do ice skating.

And there you were, in the ice skate ring, surrounded by people of all ages. Spencer, aware of the cold ice, was wearing a jumper, a coat, together with his pants, a scarf and a beanie. Oh and gloves. He looked adorable, but he looked more adorable when he tried to stood up trying to not to fall on his knees in the skating rink.

“Are you sure you can do this?” you giggled as you skate one way and another next to him. “We can always take one of those” you pointed at the penguin mount a kid was using.

“There is no way I will use that. It is ridiculous! I am a grown man! I can do this!” he complained, his voice sightly pitched as he trembled a bit, holding himself to the border of the skating rink.

“Come on, Mr Profiler. I can teach you” you smiled. “Let me help” you extended your hand to him and offered him a sweet smile.
