Stephanie can hear the rain pitter-pattering against the pavement as she stands in front of Gotham U's main building, holding an umbrella to keep her dry, though she's not sure if she is succeeding, considering the rain falling angled, forming puddles in its wake. It's Gotham, Steph is very much used to the gloomy weather, but nothing can spoil her mood, not even getting drenched while waiting for you to finish your classes. Why? It's very simple. It's because you asked her to walk you home, since buses are cancelled and you don't bring your car to classes.

Despite the rain, Stephanie feels warm from the inside, a golden ball inside of her chest as she impatiently waits for you. What you two have is still fresh, new and exciting. You two have only gone on a couple of dates prior to today, only have kissed and had a half-heated make-out session, but that's it, and Steph couldn't wait for the next one. Sure, Steph could go and wait for you inside of the building, but there is something so romantic about you seeing her waiting for you out in the rain. Plus, the rain is not that heavy, a romantic like her think it's the perfect weather for a walk. Maybe it's her inner gothamite talking.

Steph is still second-guessing her choice of clothes as she impatiently waits for you. Is it just her or is the time ticking very slowly? When she got the text, Stephanie dashed out of her class to make sure she is early, she can't stomach the idea of you getting wet. Typical you have an impromptu date on the day she decides to wear nothing special, just a t-shirt and a green velvet jacket.

Stephanie's trail of thoughts get interrupted when she sees a familiar figure open the door and her heart leaps in her chest as you walk over to her. "Your carriage awaits you, fair madam." Steph greets you with a faux British accent as she extends you her arm. You look so good in your casual clothes, it's making her feel like she is underdressed. It's quite a long walk from here to Wayne Manor, but Steph couldn't be happier to be with you.
