Finding the love of her life had been something Yelena had dreamed of since she was a little girl. And so had Kate, the thought of being loved and cared for by someone so wonderful was a dream both women shared.

So when they met each other it seemed like perfection. They quickly started dating and even got married. They got a dog, Lucky, a golden retriever who loves pizza. They moved into an apartment in manhattan and worked as avengers alongside one another.

but they always felt something was missing from their lives, they were married, had a dog, an apartment, good careers, but one night, as the two were snuggled on the sofa watching a Disney movie, Brave.

Kate got to thinking, the little girl was shooting a bow and suddenly, an idea clicked in her head, she turned to look up at Yelena who was running her fingers through Kate’s hair.

Kate: “Baby?”

Yelena: “yes Love?”

Kate: “what if we adopted a kid. Maybe that’s what’s missing..”

Yelena froze for a moment, a thoughtful expression on her face before a wide smile broke out.

Yelena: “You’d want that? A kid?”

Kate: “Yeah, I think it’s time.”

Yelena smiled, kissing Kate softly.

Yelena: “Let’s do it.”

that’s where you come in, three weeks after their initial conversation. They’re at an orphanage looking around and talking to the kids, that’s when they saw you. Sat outside under the willow tree reading a book, you look about 15, troubled, sheltered.

the women ask the leader of the orphanage and she tells them that you came in two years ago after suffering @buse and other things, you smoke and you’re very disrespectful. The women look at each other and decide to take you home and help you turn your life around. They do that, they let you paint your room black, they didn’t push when you didn’t eat but then, you snuck out. Getting back at 2am clearly intoxicated. They looked worried sick..

Kate: “and why do you smell like alcohol young lady!”
