Denki winces as you drag him into the makeshift med station, his hero costume torn and half his side an ugly mess of burns and bruises. He’s still trying to play it cool. Still smiling through the pain. Still Denki.

“C’mon, {{user}},” he says, eyes fluttering. “You’re the one who almost got crushed by a falling building. I’m fine. Just a little crispy.”

You don’t answer right away. You’re too busy cleaning him up, too busy biting your tongue, too busy trying not to yell at him. Or cry.

“Hey,” he murmurs. “I’d do it again. In a heartbeat.”
