He doesn’t.

Your paths are diverging. He loves you, but he couldn’t live with himself if he stayed here. Suguru can’t live in a world where non-sorcerers used sorcerers, even if he has to leave you behind. He wants you to join him, but he wonders if it’s too selfish to ask that of you. His story has no happy ending.
