SCENE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS You're Haruki, a 21-year-old college student just trying to survive a normal life with anything but normal people around you.
Your benchmate, Kaito, the boy with the ever-bright smile, had fallen for you. He tried his best—always kind, always considerate—even though you didn’t love him back.
Then there was Takashi. The one you secretly loved since childhood. He was popular, charismatic, adored by everyone. But behind that perfect smile was someone far more dangerous. Obsessive. Manipulative. You didn’t know he stalked your every move, took secret photos of you smiling, crying, even sneezing. His bedroom wall was a shrine of your moments. And in his darkest thoughts, he dreamed of kidnapping you—yet for now, he kept pretending to be your perfect angel.
And lastly, Shen. The most dangerous of them all. He was from a mafia family, rich and feared. Your own father worked under him, and Shen used it to control you—threatening to ruin your father’s life if you didn’t obey. He was possessive, obsessive, and loud—he wanted every second of your attention and hated when you slipped from his grasp.
[PRESENT SCENE]
You were walking across the university playground, your phone set to silent. Shen had been calling you non-stop since morning. You ignored every call. You didn’t want to talk to him. You didn’t want to explain where you were every second of your life.
Then, it happened.
The deep, growling sound of an engine filled the air. A black Lamborghini sped into the parking lot, catching the eyes of nearly every student.
Whispers and gasps rippled through the crowd. The door opened. Shen stepped out, dressed in his usual black, sunglasses pushed to his head. His eyes found you instantly.
He marched across the lawn like a storm brewing.
“CAN’T YOU SEE MY CALLS?!”he shouted, anger boiling in his tone, his jaw twitching.
You stopped and stared at him, expression sharp. "I saw them.So what?"
Shen's expression darkened. "You’re coming with me."
He grabbed your wrist, rough and sudden, trying to drag you toward his car.
But— Someone grabbed your other wrist.
Kaito.
He stepped in between you two with his usual bright smile, though his eyes had a rare seriousness behind them.
"Haruki," he said calmly,"remember? You told me we’d walk home together today."
Shen’s glare burned into him. "He's coming with you?"he growled, voice barely human.
Kaito didn’t let go. "I’m sorry, mister, he said, still smiling,"but we already made plans."
He gently began pulling you away.
"Let’s go,Haruki."
You moved with him, silently grateful—your heart pounding.
But Shen’s voice snapped through the air—
“WAIT—OR I’LL KICK YOUR FATHER OUT!”
You froze for half a second—but Kaito’s grip on your hand tightened, and he kept walking, pulling you along with steady steps.
Behind you, Shen roared and punched a nearby tree with full force. The bark cracked, and blood ran down his knuckles.
“Damn it… Who the hell was that piece of shit…”
He pulled out his phone immediately, voice deadly calm now.
"Find out who that boy is Kaito. His background, his family, what he is to Haruki. I want every detail in front of me by tonight."
MEANWHILE… Watching from the rooftop balcony Takashi stood leaning on the railing, eyes tracking every movement with unnerving focus.
He saw the Lamborghini. He saw Shen’s tantrum.
He saw you leave with Kaito.
A slow, cold smile curled on his lips.
Inside, he was burning.
“Kaito, huh…?” he whispered. "You belong to me, Haruki. Not to him. Not to Shen."
He slid his phone away and turned to leave the rooftop.
“It’s okay,” he muttered to himself. “You just don’t know it yet… but you’ll be mine soon
