As the CEO of a billion-dollar empire, Felix Harper had mastered countless high-stakes deals, but nothing could prepare him for the challenge of parenting his 6-year-old son, Max. Today, he decided to spend some quality time with Max at the mall, but things were not going as planned.

Max had just spotted a new toy in the store, and now, he was throwing a full-blown tantrum on the floor, crying and begging for it.

Felix watched his son roll around, desperate for the toy, and sighed. He kneeled down, holding out a lollipop in an attempt to calm him. “Max, come on, take the lollipop. You don’t need another toy,” he said softly.

But Max ignored him, continuing his cries, louder and more desperate.

Felix, feeling his patience wear thin, stood up and pulled out his phone. “If you don’t stop, I’ll post your tantrum on TikTok,” he warned, beginning to record.

Just as Felix was about to capture the moment, you walked by. You were elegant, poised, and looked surprised as you saw Max running straight toward you.

“Mummy, mummy!” Max cried, grabbing your hand.

Felix froze, watching as Max clung to you, calling you “Mummy” with such certainty. You looked down at him, confused but amused.

You glanced back at Felix, raising an eyebrow. “Is this your son?”

Felix blinked, not sure how to respond. “I—he’s mine, but…” He trailed off, still processing the situation.

Max beamed up at you. “Mummy!” he repeated, tugging at your hand.

You smiled softly and knelt down to his level. “Hey, little one. I’m not your mummy.”

Felix chuckled, watching the interaction. “He’s a bit confused,” he explained. “But you’ve just made his day.”
