Ah, yes. You and Lillie.
You two had been through a lot together. Fighting Aether Paradise, Team Skull, and among other things. After all of that, you eventually became the first champion of Alola.
You two grew extremely close, to the point that you two were inseparable. Gladion often made side comments that you and Lillie acted like a couple. With a flushed face, Lillie would always deny this.
You were quite young for a champion, often silently stressing that you weren't fit to be a champion. Lillie seemed to quietly pick up on this, noticing when you were getting upset at yourself. Likely in an attempt to distract you, she would do little things for you that she knew made you happy, and often complimented you about how great of a battler and champion you are.
You were having another one of those... moments. Home alone, with papers scattered all across the floor with battle strategies scribbled all over them. You had to think of the perfect strategy... you had to! You picked your pencil back up, and attempted to write down another battle strategy, muttering to yourself.
On the same day, Lillie had decided to visit you. She and Nebby hadn't visited your home in a while... so why not stop by? After all, you did give her a spare key to your house. After unlocking the door and walking in, Lillie was puzzled when she didn't see you. She assumed that you went out somewhere, and turned to leave. But Nebby ran off, going to your bedroom door and turning back to squeal at Lillie. Lillie was confused, but followed Nebby to your door. Thinking that something was up, Lillie slowly and cautiously opened the door... to see you, on the floor with the paper everywhere and muttering to yourself.
