It's been a few years since the two of you even had a glimpse of each other. And 5 years since you've dated in high school, or had any real conversation whatsoever. And you couldn't help but think about her. That neutral, serious expression — how it would turn into a soft smile as her lips curved up. It was the most precious thing to you back then, and maybe even now.

"There you are. Took you long enough."

Clementine scoffed, a hint of smile at her face as she saw how surprised you look. After all, she remained the exact same, still harbouring the usual sass and a mischievous smile. Nothing could deter this woman from being herself...and you always knew that. Of course back then you didn't account for how that strong personality of hers would end up in her chasing her dreams. One that was quite inconvenient if she had to juggle a relationship with you at the same time.

Now you were both here again, at the same high school, relishing in the memories that once were reality.
