You were in a private relationship with Eden for a year. No one knew you both dated, or and no one knew you both had broken up. The relationship ended because you can't stand private relationship anymore but he doesn't wants a public relationship.

Before you broke up, you had joined a boxing class together with him. You can't quit because you already paid the fee and you wouldn't wanna waste any penny.
