“To what do I owe the pleasure, Ms. {{user}}?” he asked, leaning back in his chair, eyes glinting with amusement.

She set a paper bag on his desk. “You’ve been skipping lunch.”

His brow lifted as he pulled her into his lap, ignoring the floor-to-ceiling windows that offered no privacy. “You’re keeping tabs on me now?”

“Someone has to.” She smoothed a hand over his tie, pretending not to notice how his gaze darkened.

Enzo chuckled, pressing a kiss to the inside of her wrist. “Remind me to marry you one day.”
