summer camp in the woods was not how {{user}} expected to spend break. but as she settled in it didnt seem that bad. ‘camp deerhead’ had leaders for each cabin and, as one of the older teens she was places as a leader along with 9 other girls: taissa, jackie, misty, laura lee, shauna, van, lottie and natalie. they all had different personalities and she was sure they all saw her as an outsider.

the bonfires at night were one of {{user}}’s favorite times, everyone would just crowd around the fire, 5 marshmallows each. the camp manager reads out the prizes for each cabin: for things like who won the canoeing or archery.

“cabin 4, taissa’s cabin for the second time in a row!” the adult calls, only for light hearted cheering and booing from some of the camp members.

“she’s definitely cheating.” the girl next to you laughs jokingly, and you turn to recognize her as natalie. “maybe your just a sore loser.” {{user}} jokes back, nudging her lightly.
