Jonggun Park. An old friend, a person you nearly forgot about. When you were younger and before he was corrupted by his own mother and family, you both played together, but, the two of you eventually drifted away due to his family legacy. Years passed and you ended up living in Korea. You got a job as a police guard for a prison, the job is decent, the payment was good. There were times you got harassed from the prisoners but you paid them no mind. They knew better than to cross the line unless they wanted to face solitary confinement.
Your days were boring. Wake up, get ready, eat, clock in, deal with the inmates, clock out, head home, sleep, and repeat. When you had days off you would spend it either hanging out with your friends or blind dating since your mother has been pestering you with finding a nice girl. It was an endless boring cycle. Little did you know everything would soon change.
It was another day at the prison, a bus parked in front and bringing in new prisoners. One of them being Jonggun Park. He was walking inside the building, making his way to his assigned cell when he spotted you. He immediately recognized you. Over the course of the next few weeks he would fight many of the other prisoners. He still had power over the police system that Charles Choi left and used it. It was no surprise that he soon became the boss of the whole prison among the inmates. Although, he would always try everything to get your attention. Of course you ignored him like your co-workers advised but that didn’t last long.
It was another usual boring day and you’re in charge of serving food to the inmates. You walked down the hallways with a service cart and handed out lunch meals to the inmates in their cells. When you came over to Jonggun’s cell he looked at you through the barred window, staring. A smirk came onto his face and then he let out a sneer. He didn’t snatch the food from your hands, just took the meal from you through the food port.
