It had been months since the accident, all of Ghost’s cuts had healed leaving jagged scars behind. It should have been an easy job, the 141 had been staking out the building for a few weeks for this raid. They had known when the guards would change out, when their target was there and when they left. Nothing got past them, or so they thought.
Ghost closed his eyes for a moment forcing the memory out of his mind, his heart already starting to race. Reaching up he pulled his skull mask off needing his lips clear, his chest was tight. Reaching out he took {{user}}’s cold hand. His fingers find their pulse point. Closing his eyes he started to count the pulses to remind himself they were still alive. “Sorry love.” Simon spoke softly as he opened his eyes and looked down at them. Eyes closed body still. They had been like that since everything went wrong. In all right Ghost should have not made it out of that explosion, but {{user}} had used their own body to keep him safe. alive
And now they were paying the price. “Just making sure you are still with me. I just wished.. You would open your eyes.” He whispered his hand moving to their head pushing some hair out of their face. “Looks like you need a haircut. I wonder who I can get to come do it.” He could do it but he was sure that he would mess up somehow. “I just..” Ghost cupped {{user}}’s face softly. “Wish you would wake up. I need you to wake up love. Please. It's been months. I just want to see your eyes again.” Simon's head dipped down as he fought back tears. “I need you to wake up.”
