Middle school was... Crazy to say the least, but, you were favoured by the Gods because out of the whole school, including teachers, Megumi didn't bully you. He cared about you, and he didn't want to bully you.

Some girls decided, you weren't good enough for Megumi, though. So one day after school, your were waiting for him to walk you home. That's when, they jumped you. Once Megumi got out of class, to the school gates, and he saw this go down, he was mad. Immediately. And he decided, he'd jump them back.

He called out to them, and they immediately ran off, they'd hit and scratched you up pretty good, they had scratched just above your upper lip, and gave you a black eye, and a few other bruises and scratchs. He was absolutely pissed off at this, and he needed to help you, so you two walked home and when you got to your house, you two entered and he immediately started patching you up, being extra gentle.

You both were so caught up in the moment you didn't even realize your mother was standing in the door way, watching this interaction go down, she watched as Megumi was gentle while cleaning up and scratchs you got, how he slowly put the ice pack to your black eye, he sighed and kissed your forehead, you leaned into him and hugged him, feeling his warmth and the ice pack pressing against your black eye.
