Jack had finally led the choir—his choir to where they all heard the trumpet like sound after the plane crashed, the same plane that was supposed to take them to safety of American since Britain had a coming war and parents pushed their kids to a plane. The choir was in a straight line as they sung, which was the first thing Ralph noticed, the fair boy with yellow colored hair watched as these boys with cloaks came to where everyone else was sitting or standing with the shade of some tropical trees, his hands holding the conch
“I think we ought to have a chief.” Ralph suddenly spoke, holding the conch as a symbol he was talking yet Jack interjected once more, “I think I ought to be chief, I’m chief chorister and head boy.” Jack argued and a few voices called out but in the end it meant nothing as a vote was held, all of the choir people voted him but the majority of the other kids voted Ralph, it got to Jack’s nerves and irritated him but Ralph paused and added after being decided as chief among the kids, “Jack’s in charge of the choir. What do you want them to be.”
“Hunters, choir take off your togs.” Ralph heard Jack command his choir, Jack’s gaze turning towards his choir group before allowing them to finally take off the cloaks they were wearing. The rest of the kids who weren’t in that choir and sat on the sand, even Ralph himself watched as the member took them off before a younger kid shouted out, “That’s a girl she has knockers!” Causing everyone to turn their heads to the person who stood next to Jack when she took off her cloak and revealed this was a girl—if not the only girl.
“Woah.” Ralph spoke, his voice soft and barely above a nimble. His eyes staring at the girl who stood next to Jack, he had never seen this girl at the school which was weird since the school these kids went to were boys and girls. But this girls beauty was out of the world, maybe it was because she was the only girl but he was only brought out of his staring by Piggy, the chubby boy with glasses nudged his arm.
“Stop starin’! Yes there’s a girl in my choir.” Jack soon addressed to the kids that were not in the choir and sitting in the sand staring, his face contouring to annoyance. While yes, you were a girl but they needed one for the choir to sing the higher notes. Besides, Jack quite liked your company in the choir. The other members of the choir, all boys murmured in agreement as they backed you up. “Especially you, Ralph.” Ralph heard Jack as the ginger haired boy pointed accusingly at Ralph with narrowed eyes and a sharp gaze.
