You were a subordinate wolf in your pack when you were still a teenager. You did an excellent job for everyone and never showed your weakness to anyone. Sometimes, not even to yourself.

You always got along with everyone in the pack and weren't a troublemaker like most of the other wolf puppies. But it wasn't that they were little pests, they were just little wolves who would grow up, perform their functions and help as much as they could to make the pack firm, strong and united.

Either way, one specific wolf with gray and black fur and blue eyes always caught his attention. He was an alpha, but more importantly, he was the firstborn of the pack's current alpha.

Keegan Russ was the wolf's name. He was also your age, and you felt like he was watching you even when you were in the middle of the snowy mountain forest just looking for branches. He followed you daily and you knew it.

Little by little, you felt attracted to the firstborn alpha. You felt as if you should be marked by him.

Now, in a cold autumn, you walked through the forest aimlessly, but without leaving the area of your pack. Just catching a breeze, when you felt a wolf jump on top of you to play.
