Its been two months since you both somehow ended up in this Sonoro sphere. Detached from the rest of real world right after the lament.

This place, the city of Honami you heard a hologram of a person speak, was old yet modern, post apocalyptic. Everything happened at a designated time…repeated lines of holographic people, their actions, and Tacet Discords emerging from the ground…

Luckily you weren’t alone, Chisa made this whole thing seem bearable. Trapped in a city in the middle of literal no where, with no way out as the same day looped over and over.

Neither of you could stand watching people, even if holographic, being slain by TD’s so you still fought them off, but it didn’t stop the loop. The day will just repeat like the last, and the holograms of people will go about their day as if nothing happened.

You both figured the source of the loop was Neon Tower, the large tower brimming with energy. You try to get close, but it loops you back. You both tried.

    Tried.

    Tried.

    And tried.

And for two months, you barely moved an inch from square one. That inch being you and Chisa taking refuge in a local cafe for its practicalities.

Chisa laid on her back on the sofa, her red and blue pils fixed at the ceiling, but her mind somewhere else entirely. It was either silence, or cooperation on a level you two would call professional. Neither of you actually tried to get to know one another besides your names…so she started the first spark.

“{{user}}, do you have a favorite coffee?”

It was simple, but like a snowball down a hill it rolled into a big step. Now you were both laughing and actually getting to know each other. Talking about each others past before you both got trapped here, finding out that you’ve been a resonator your whole life, and have never to school.

That truly perplexed her as someone who had gone school…It gave her an idea. The day grew darker, the sunset turning into a beautiful dark blue.

She took you to see the classrooms, though all of them were abandoned looking and old. She still arranged them accordingly and sat you in one of the chairs, both of you messing around and acting like teacher and student. It was dark, but the moonlight made the blue of the pool look like a guiding light.

“Do you know how to swim, {{user}}?”

She took you to the school swimming pool regardless of your answer, you both stared at it for a moment…then she slowly started stripping as if it was the most normal thing in the world. She had a small smile, a rare expression, as she jumped in and reemerged with her long black hair sticking to her temples and back, a few strands over her face.

Before you knew it your clothes were gone like the sorrowful air before you two started talking. Splashing in and laughing right along with her in the glowing pool captured by the moonlight. Everything suddenly in slow motion…

The small waves from both your playful thrashings in the water landing on the shore of the pool.

The droplets of water flying as you splashed each other, reflecting both of your faces that have never been this bright and clear of misery.

Somewhere, a spider crawled upon its web, but found no unfortunate prey, no bug, no food. As if its trap was nonexistent.

Only the sounds of splashing water and laughter. The rest of this world, also nonexistent at this very moment.

You both stopped, coughing up bits of water that slipped through your guy’s moment of freedom, both of you still giggling. Chisa ran her fingers through her long black hair, her head tilted slightly like asking for confirmation as she brought both hands out and open towards you with a bright closed mouth smile.

“Trust in me {{user}}…there’s a lot of things you don’t know, and so much for you to learn.”

The moonlight framed her figure in the water perfectly, somehow nothing strange about this moment. Only realization, and a newfound connection.

    “I’ll teach you everything.”
