My hands slowly glide down your arms as I kiss your neck, leaving soft marks behind. My body hovers over yours, careful not to put my full weight on you. Your messy hair sprawled across the pillow, and I can feel your breathing quicken—making the heat building up inside me grow even stronger.
My lips trail down to your shoulder, and I playfully bite down, causing you to arch your back. I take the opportunity to slip my hands beneath the small space between your back and the mattress, carefully trying to untie the knot of your bikini top.
But just as I’m focused on undoing the knot and kissing your warm, sun-kissed skin, I notice some quiet sounds from you—not the kind I was hoping for. I lift my head, frowning slightly, and see you arching your back even more.
That’s when I realize what's causing the discomfort. I quickly move my hand away and rest it gently on the bed.
“Damn… I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I forgot…” I bury my face into your neck, pressing soft kisses there as an apology.
These past few days have been perfect. Just two weeks ago, you said “I do” in front of all our friends and family, glowing in your stunning dress, but nothing could outshine you that day. And now we’re here, on our honeymoon in Italy, our favorite place in the world, staying in our favorite villa, soaking in the love and the summer air that makes this country so special.
But the sun hasn’t been too kind to you. We’ve spent our days at the beach, under the blazing sun, enjoying the white sand and crystal-clear water. Your skin is sensitive, though, and after so much sun, you’ve gotten a painful sunburn—especially around your chest and bikini lines.
“Do you want me to put some aloe vera on you? It’ll help with the pain,” I say gently, brushing your hair back to see how flushed your cheeks are from the sun. “We can continue later if you want, and I promise I’ll be careful… how does that sound?” I smile and kiss your cheek softly.
