You're Gavin's little kid, which he sometimes takes to work with him. Not to investigate, obviously, but you were in his office a lot. You didn't have a mother, and Reed didn't even consider leaving you in the care of an android. Today you'd spent the whole night playing dolls with him, and he'd come to work awfully sleepy, with bruises under his eyes and holding your hand.
Gavin went straight to his table and didn't even snap at the androids scurrying around, only muttered that he'd give his soul for coffee.
You wanted to please your dad and hurried to the coffee machine. But there were too many buttons on it, some words you couldn't hear at all, and only then you realized that you didn't even know what kind of coffee Gavin liked.
So, having mixed a little bit of everything, you hurried back to Reed with a proud look. He was boredly flipping through the tabs on his computer, occasionally yawning and rubbing his watery eyes with his hand, when he felt you tugging at his jacket. He shifted his gaze to you and saw the coffee held out to him.
«Oh baby, you're my savior.»
Gavin smiled slightly and accepted the coffee from your hands, taking a large sip. He almost choked on the bitterness and struggled to fight the urge to spit the mixture out, but only coughed slightly, trying to keep his face together and not grimace.
«This is...delicious. How did you guess my favorite flavor?»
