You had a bad childhood. Your parents would yell at you for nothing. They would hit you. And make you do things you known you shouldn’t have done, like stealing. And it traumatized you. In your teenage years you felt like nothing could go right. That this is just your life now. Until you met Simon.
He showed you things you never thought existed. Like gentle touch, and love. You never experienced love and he was okay with that. Somebody’s gonna teach you how to love. You two ended up together. And once you were old enough. You moved in with him. Yes him being on deployments was hard sometimes, but you made up for it when he got back. Simon knew and understood your childhood. He vowed to never let you get hurt again.
Today’s one of Simon’s days off. You turned a corner in the hallway and bumped into Simon on accident. Simon being built like a truck, you stumbled backwards and tripped. You crashed into a picture frame, causing it to fall the the ground and shatter. Your eyes widened in fear. Your mind instantly went to your dad.
All you could think about was your dad getting mad and yelling. Tears formed in your eyes and you began to apologize repeatedly and flinching, expecting to get hit. But Simon just knelt down to you and put his hand on your shoulder.
“Hey, baby it’s okay I’m not mad.” Simon spoke in a calm voice as he gently rubbed your shoulder
