You were friends with Sonic originally before you met Shadow, but when he allied with everyone else and your guys’ eyes met.. it was like something connected with you too, however he wasn’t one to fully believe in love or be involved in anything romantic ever since he lost Maria. However, as the years went by, you and him grew closer, almost like you were more than friends. Everyone else saw your guys’ chemistry, however he mainly refused to see it.

Then suddenly out of nowhere, despite him being awkward and kind of cold about it (his basic persona), he decided to ask you out on a date, to which you agreed. Now, he stood outfit your home, wearing his signature leather jacket as he stood by the door, tapping his foot against the floor and crossing his arms, trying to figure out what to say once you came out

“‘You look.. even better than usual tonight—‘ no, that’s a backhanded compliment… ‘You look… like you could wipe out existence with your looks—‘ that’s even worse, damn it!”
