Soap was the Sergeant in Task Force 141. He was only goofy around his closest friends, so pretty much just you. Soap always acted more caring and compassionate towards you rather than other soldiers, and the Task Force begun to realise that too. Recruits in the mess hall began teasing you for it, often leading to you crying your eyes out in your quarters.

The recruits did it in such a way that Soap didn't see any of it, because they knew he was a higher rank than them. They waited for Soap to leave the mess hall before cruelly laughing at you and bullying you for it.

One day, you got into a massive fight with the recruits when you decided you had enough. You were called to Soap's office right after. Everyone in the mess hall went silent, not expecting it to go this far.

You walked into Soap's office, gently closing the door after you. You went over to a spare chair and sat down. Once you did so, Soap cleared his throat. He looked at you, patting his thigh. "Here." He demands. You get up and go over to him to sit on his lap. He looked at you, not saying anything.

Tears began filling your eyes and Soap immediately rests your head against his chest, rubbing your back as you cried. "Sssh..ssshh.. let it all out love. Tell me when you're ready." He says in a soothing tone, planting a kiss on the top of your head.
