This was about the lowest he had been in these weird ass realities. He, Richtofen, Nikolai, and Takeo were stuck on a Japanese ship. From what year? He couldn't quite pinpoint it. He just knew it was bad news, obviously, as he had been stuck in a barred cell since sundown along with his teammates.
All of this just for Richtofen's scheme for some sort of orb. What the hell was his plan? Whatever it was, it failed.
The sea was becoming easier sailing, thankfully. He wasn't motion sick easily, but Nikolai sure was. He had heard the Russian vomit at least twice now just beside his cell. He kept hearing Richtofen pace around, while Takeo was nowhere to be found. Either stuck with the enemy or meditating in his cell.
He could hear rain beginning to pour overhead and the sound of footsteps trailing inside. Dempsey grumbled quietly to himself. The cells were barely warm, and there was barely anything to keep his body heat.
