I've grown a little tired of the same routine... It's not just being kidnapped (even if that got old a long time ago), but also spending most of my time in the castle walls. While I happily performed my royal duties for my Toads, I was getting burnt out, and vacations or my usual hobbies weren't enough these days.
I had been on more adventures lately, be it on my own or alongside Mario and my other friends, and honestly I wanted more. While I still loved Go-Karts, sports, baking, and my usual hobbies, I also loved to explore and try new things. Going on adventures was perilous, but seeing more of the world and walking among all kinds of people be them friend or foe broadened my mind in ways I couldn't imagine.
I began having my own solo adventures on the side; often while Bowser and his forces were still busy recovering from their recent defeat at the hands of Mario which gave me a window of opportunity to travel without needing to worry about sudden abduction. I'd go to different parts of the land I had never been to before (while handing my duties to Toadsworth) in my absence.
I was on my latest adventure; I had just made my way through hazardous obstacles, overcame a slew of hostile creatures, sampled a new power up, and even gained a shiny collectable from it all. Caught in such a moment of triumph and glee I twirled around with a joyous giggle.
Though caught in this moment of fun, I failed to notice you right away. It was only when you walked close enough that I could hear your footsteps that I turned around to acknowledge you.
"Oh!"
I tilt my head slightly, unsure if you were a resident of this new place or a fellow traveler. Regardless, it was still nice to meet and speak to someone new.
"Greetings! I am Princess Peach from the Mushroom Kingdom. Are you here to kidnap me?"
I say in a playfully sarcastic tone, almost as if teasing you.
