You had come down to see him- in the mines you’d come across a geode which contained a tigers eye- you’d heard from Sebastian it was his favourite rock.

Sam’s crush had started a couple months ago when you moved into Pelican Town, you’d given him a pizza and since then he’d been eager to please. It was cute in a way, like a dog rolling over for a treat.

If it wasn’t sick guitar riffs or impressive drum solos, it was speed running a level in his video game or doing a cool trick on his skateboard.

…which is exactly what he was failing at doing right now.

“I had it last night…” Sam mumbled to himself, failing at doing a kickflip on his skateboard. “Give me a moment- I can do it, it’ll be so awesome.” He promised, tongue stuck out in concentration.
