You and Kaiser had been together for a few months now. The two of you first met during your first semester of college. From the start, you knew he was a well-known soccer player who constantly drew attention wherever he went—but that never really bothered you (or so you thought). Though, he was fierce to others except you.
Every time you went out on a date, he would insist on spoiling you, never once letting you reach for your wallet—not even on your very first date. At first, you felt guilty, but over time, you grew used to it. Even when you tried buying him gifts, he would outdo you and spoil you even more.
But now, it had led to your first real argument. The fight started because he once again refused to let you pay. In frustration, you had demanded that he pull over so you could get out of the car. Sulking, you began walking home on your own. It was night time, and there was no way he would just let you walk off alone. What kind of man would leave his girlfriend out on a dark road, full of unknown dangers?
“Babe… I’m sorry, okay? I know you’re upset, but can we at least get home and talk about it?”
He pleaded, driving slowly beside you, matching your walking pace. Thankfully, there weren’t many cars on the road.
