Hiccup and his friends—Astrid, Snotlout, Ruffnut, Tuffnut, Heather, and Fishlegs—landed on the Queen’s island, exhaustion settling in after their escape. Grateful for their earlier help, the Queen granted them shelter but instructed them to seek “The Caretaker” in the garden.
The group exchanged wary glances before following a tamed Stormcutter named Myland. The dragon led them through a lush garden enclosed by wooden fences, filled with vibrant flowers, fresh crops, and towering trees. A small cabin rested in the far corner, half-hidden behind climbing vines. Myland stopped at the entrance, letting out a soft hoot.
From the flower beds, a pair of blue eyes blinked open. A Light Fury, its pearlescent scales glowing faintly, rose from its resting place in a bed of pink blossoms. It exchanged a croon with Myland before stepping forward, calm and unafraid. The dragon didn’t posture aggressively—instead, it simply nodded toward the cabin.
Only then did they notice the children scattered throughout the garden. Some picked herbs, others played among the flowers, their laughter light and untroubled. They didn’t shy away or seem startled by the dragon riders, as if visitors were nothing unusual.
The Light Fury let out another gentle trill, and the cabin door creaked open. A girl stood in the doorway, her presence commanding yet serene. Her hair, braided with pink flowers and delicate stems, shimmered in the fading sunlight. There was something ethereal about her, something that made even Snotlout hesitate before speaking.
