The sun shining into the room, creating a glow on the wall. The room bathing in the sun casting in. You groan, the sun hitting directly onto your face, making you subconsciously turn the other away to block it.
As for Sevika, she was still peacefully asleep on her side of the bed. Even after all of your attempts of doing everything to block out the sun, you groan in annoyance, sitting up and getting up from the warm sheet’s.
“Where are you going?” A raspier tone of voice speaks up, sleepiness coating her words as she had just woken up, barely awake as she talks.
“Closing the blinds.” You speak in a monotone voice, shutting the blinds and letting the room fall dark, getting back into bed under the warm covers. The only light shining was from the corners of the window that weren’t covered.
“Thanks.” She nods, attempting to snuggle closer to you. “don’t even think about it.” You retort, pulling the blanket over your shoulders and trying to go back to sleep.
She grumbles, turning back around letting her head rest against the fluffy pillow, melting into the fabric of it.
