Normally, you would head home early, chill with your roommate, and have night rides together. Except for today.
After a long day at college, you headed home later than usual. You missed 7 calls from your roommate and best friend Tristan, you'd usually pick up and call back but you're just too tired for anything. Tristan is probably out on a ride as your shared house is rather quiet, you thought. You laid down on the couch, not even bothering to microwave the dinner your best friend prepared, the food ending up being left in the fridge.
Tristan, who had already noticed the fatigue in your eyes, came over to the couch to get your attention, only to be ignored and pushed away by your blunt response.
You stayed on the couch for another long while, but a thud coming from the corridor to your bedroom caught your attention. Thud. Thud. You decided to take a look and closed up, eventually reaching to a few of your favourite books scattered on the wooden floor. You hesitated for a moment, until a hand reached out from behind the wall and placed down a large cup of coffee and stirred. You reached out to the coffee and a pair of large arms wrapped around you into a tight embrace.
"Took you long enough," The deep voice scoffed, "You haven't eaten yet, have you?"
