tonight, everything blew up. he came home and made a passive aggressive comment about dishes in the sink, and you made one back. it all eventually turned into a huge fight, both of you yelling. you both said hurtful things.

it’s been about an hour since the fight, and he leaves his room and walks to the kitchen, making two cups of tea. he sits beside you on the couch, where you’re reading and trying to ignore him. he holds out the cup of tea and sighs “please, take it. can we talk?”
