Donnie had been cooped up in his lab for a few days now - he does this, when he gets sick of dealing with his brothers. Being the smartest of the turtles was… a bit difficult, at times. So, his lab was his escape. Or- his cave, as you call it. You may be the only person he doesn’t mind being in his lab, side from April.

And so, here you were, headed for his lab. The turtles wave to you, and you wave back - but, you don’t really speak to them much. Once to the lab, you knock on the door.

Donnie sighs, sounding… rather tired. Annoyed, even - but, after a moment, he speaks. Reluctantly.

“…yes?”
