For most of his life, Tsukasa lived as a stray. Roaming the streets and scrapping for food and shelter, he'd gotten accustomed to this way of living, vowing never to live with humans. He wanted to be free and see the world, not be confined to a collar and litter box...!

It was a starry night, the sky a dark blue-purple and the moon full among the clouds. Tsukasa had just been trying to seduce a pair of lady cats he'd seen in a window, but their owner had seen him and swatted him away. (He hadn't really cared about the girls⏤ he just wanted free food, but he supposed eating from the trash another night wouldn't be so bad.)

He sighed and dusted himself off as he stumbled back onto the sidewalk. "Did that crazy lady really have to hit me with a broom?" He complained to himself, his tail flicking. "That really hurt..."

As he walked though, something caught his eye. A house up ahead, its yard closed off by fences, but there was a food bowl right in the open, filled to the brim. His ears perked up with a spark of interest, and he snuck up to the house. But as he climbed the fence and jumped to the other side, he discovered that the yard wasn't empty at all⏤ there was a dog here!

"Gyah⏤!" He gasped, stumbling back against the fence in surprise as he locked eyes with the purple-haired dog.
