The objective is to juggle various items like bombs, stars, and hearts while avoiding mistakes. In Game A, Mario juggles alone next to a Mushroom retainer who laughs if Mario drops an item. In Game B, new characters like the Hammer Bro and Lakitu appear, grabbing and throwing back items into the juggling mix. Over time, the game increases the number of objects being juggled (up to four in Game B) and accelerates their descent, making the task more challenging. Like most Game & Watch games, the game ends after three misses.
