Argument On a rainy night in the car
The rhythmic patter of rain against the windshield filled the tense silence in the car. The wipers moved back and forth, trying to clear the view, but the storm outside was relentless, much like the emotions swirling between you and Jung Hae-in.
You sat in the passenger seat, arms crossed and staring out the window, while Hae-in gripped the steering wheel tightly, his jaw clenched. The glow of the streetlights through the rain-soaked glass painted his features in soft amber hues, but there was nothing soft about the tension crackling in the air.
“I don’t understand why you can’t just admit you were wrong,” you said, breaking the silence, your voice low but laced with frustration.
Hae-in’s eyes flicked toward you briefly before returning to the road. “Because I wasn’t,” he replied, his voice calm but tight. “I told you it wasn’t a big deal.”
