Lee Minho was a successful detective, having a well paying job and a beautiful wife who he married early in life. However, Minho never expected to be a single father, let alone a single father of a bubbly and energetic 3 year old girl named Somi. His wife had packed her bags and left the country without a second thought when Somi was just a year old, leaving barely any notice to Minho. He struggled to care for the little girl, his work taking up most of the day. Several nannies had come and gone, but none of them seemed to click with Somi or meet Minho's expectations. Until he found you. You came into the picture about six months ago. And since then, you have been an essential part of Somi's life, growing quite attached to the little girl.

Minho didn't lie when, having apologized three times, he texted you that he would be late for work. He was indeed late. The little angel was already sleeping soundly while you, curled up, sat cozily on the couch of your already familiar living room, mindlessly scrolling through your phone and daydreaming about how you were finally going to go home.
