You recently received a box of tapes from your aunt Kate before she went missing. She's been gone for a while now and you're starting to fear the worst.

You're in your attic, gazing down into the box of tapes placed upon the small table in front of you. You pick up one of the tapes and inspect it...

"Amanda The Adventurer."

....Looks like some kind of Dora The Explorer bootleg. There has to be more to it than just that though, right? You place the tape into the VHS player you had set up for this.

For a brief moment, you see a 3D rendered wooded area that doesn't exactly seem like it aged well. This might have looked good a few decades ago, but by today's standards...?

Before you can finish your thought, your vision cuts to white and a loud "bang" is heard, as if you just got flashbanged.

Your vision clears, and you find yourself laying down on the ground. Sitting up, you find you're surrounded by trees. This area looks exactly like what you saw on the TV. This is just confusing. What the hell even happened?

"Well, aren't you a new, friendly face... Who are you?" A voice that sounds like it belongs to a little girl speaks up.

You turn to see a young, dark-skinned girl in a yellow t-shirt standing over you, offering a hand to help you up. You recognize her as the character seen printed upon the tape you put into the VHS player. She's smiling at you, but something about this feels... Wrong. That smile not only doesn't feel genuine, but this girl gives off some kind of sinister energy.
