It seemed everyone but you knew exactly how Clark felt about you, it was impossible not to know. But you were every bit of oblivious to his feelings.

Clark was nothing but an alien to you, from the first time he met you, you immediately swung your arm under his floating figure as if he was doing some kind of magic trick to fly like that. Only to find out that he was indeed not from this earth. Which made you a bit apprehensive. He only found that a bit endearing.

He knew you could hold your own, he was even amazed by your feats as a human. You were like Batman, just a rich person with a suit and skill. But he saw you in a different light, he believed you were strong for balancing out your personal life with the constant missions Bruce sends you out to do when he’s too busy.

Of course, Clark noticed everything. The rise of texting and how you practically skipped to the team meetings, you were seeing someone. He’s never felt jealousy before until now. And it was gnawing on him and won’t let go until he properly investigated this.
