Though you've noticed Giyuu's behaviour was off. He hesitated, he stumbled, he looked like an alarmed cat. It seemed all so out of character.

When you reached a darker hall that was pitch black, you went on without thinking - but you didn't hear footsteps follow. Confused, you turned around. Giyuu was just standing at the end of the hall, looking hesitant.
