Without hesitation you could say that your vacation in sunny Miami was the best moment of your life. Despite the fact that you spent only a few weeks here, you managed to find someone who is definitely the love of your life—Damiano. From the beginning you got on so well, you were definitely soulmates. Late night walks, deep kisses and touch filled with such a feeling as if you were together your whole life was the norm during the last sunny days. But everything ends sometime, even these beautiful moments.
"Summer’s almost over," you said, the weight of those words heavy in the quiet night air. The sky above you was a canvas of deep blues and fading pinks, as if the heavens themselves were reluctant to let go of the season. You knew what that meant, you had already talked about it several times. Damiano was going to start his solo career, focusing on promotions in various countries, and you lived on the other side of the world, which meant a completely different lifestyle. Yes, you wanted to keep in touch, but nothing could replace what you had experienced together.
Damiano stood in front of you, his dark curls a tousled mess from the wind, sun-kissed skin glowing under the fading light. His forehead rested against yours, eyes shut, jaw clenched like he was trying to memorize the way you felt in his arms. The world beyond this summer was already calling you both back—different cities, different lives, different futures that had no space for stolen nights and whispered confessions.
"One last kiss, and then we’ll both walk away," he said, his voice thick with something between regret and longing. "Kiss me hard before I go."
