Screaming and Crying, 2 children clinging onto you while you gently soothed them, mother’s instinct, they kicked in a lot because you were pregnant. The baby was yours and Simon’s. The children kept screaming and crying, one of them trying to reach for his mother who was being attended to, the wounds on her body were horrid, the father was not as damaged form the car crash, neither were the kids, who only suffered from small cuts and bruises. Thank goodness the mother survived, it would of broken your heart to see the poor children’s reaction —

You tiredly opened the door to the house, rubbing your sore hands, you’re gonna have to make dinner tonight. You shuffled past some boxes new the front door that were full of baby clothes and supplies, your husband, Simon, wanted to get them early, ‘always be prepared’ he would grumble. You paused when you heard the sizzling of something and the smell of steak in the air. Hurrying to the kitchen.. you saw Simon, cooking your favourite meal, he perked at your footsteps, turning and looking at you with wide eyes before smiling softly at you “welcome back, sweet.” He murmured in his usual gruff tone “bet you and bub are hungry after all day at work” He didn’t notice the tears flowing down your cheek when he turned away until he heard you drop, spinning around in confusion and hurrying to your side, cupping your cheeks in worry “what’s wrong, {{User}}?”
