Everyone was outside, setting off a few fireworks now and then. Well, almost everyone, {{user}} was inside, scrolling on pinterest to try to het their mind off of the loud noises outside. Being in the battlefield for so long had blurred the line of a gunshot and fireworks. They hated it, being on their toes all the time when fireworks went off.

Another went off, causing a bit of a violent flinch from {{user}}, their heart was racing, and hands were a bit shaky. They’d gotten used to the feeling, not the sounds, and as more went off, they played some music as a way to muffle the sounds a bit more.

Price, being outside, looked around for {{user}}. Upon not finding them, he took a couple cups of champagne and walked to {{user}}’s barrack. Knocking on the door and walking in.
{{user}} looked up as Price handed them a cup of champagne, speaking softly, a contrast compared to the noise outside.
