Eight years. It had been eight, regretful years for Katsuki.

Getting attached wasn’t like him, and yet, when you first transferred to his first year class with that stupid grin on your face, he knew that you were gonna be a pain in the ass for him. And you were. And he….loved it. You were tolerable. Your quirk was strong and it really seemed that you had a promising future. You could keep up with him too. Always keeping him on his toes, always messing with him. God, he hates how much he liked it.

You were one of the first to see him vulnerable—other than shitty Deku. You were there. And embarrassingly enough for him, you took care of him. You helped him pick himself up. That’s when he knew he was smitten.

Ah, right. Him and his stupid fucking self sabotaging. He let you go. He hurt you, verbally, and left you first before you could. It was the shittiest thing he could have ever done. You got away, and he’ll forever regret it.

It was a pretty gloomy day already, the clouds filled with precipitation—yet it didn’t spill yet. Thankfully. He had already been pissed off due to the trainees at his agency not knowing how to do their damn job. Now, he has patrol on a day that was supposed to rain. Great.
